Helldivers 2 New Trailer Reveals Exciting PC Features and Cross-Platform Play

Sony and Arrowhead Game Studios recently unveiled an action-packed trailer for their upcoming third-person shooter, Helldivers 2. The trailer (embedded above) focuses primarily on the game’s dynamic PC gameplay, showcasing intense battles against giant bugs and formidable automatons alongside the all-too-familiar mishaps of friendly fire. The visuals are impressive, and the combat sequences are exhilarating.

For PC gamers, Helldivers 2 promises a top-notch experience with support for resolutions up to 4K. Players can choose their preferred control method, the traditional mouse and keyboard setup or the innovative PS5 DualSense controller. Helldivers 2 will feature cross-platform play between PC and PS5 players in a significant move towards gaming inclusivity. This feature is exciting as it allows players to send SOS signals during missions, enabling others to join in and fill any vacancies, enhancing the game’s cooperative aspect.

Initially slated for a February 8th release on PS5 and PC globally, a recent announcement at Sony’s CES 2024 press conference hinted at a potential delay to February 28th. However, this new release date remains unconfirmed, as neither Arrowhead Game Studios nor PlayStation have made official statements. As anticipation builds, players eagerly await further details about Helldivers 2, including its PC requirements. Stay tuned for upcoming updates on this thrilling title.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
