Rebel Wolves Enlists Veteran Talent for Ambitious Dark Fantasy RPG Project

Rebel Wolves, a team packed with talent from CD Projekt RED, has just made a huge splash by bringing Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a big name in the industry. VGC broke the story, and everyone’s talking about how this could be a game-changer. Mateusz isn’t new to this, he’s the brain behind the quests in ‘The Witcher 3’ and ‘Cyberpunk 2077,’ so you know he’s got the chops.

A couple of years back, some of the CD Projekt RED crew decided to start their own thing, and that’s how Rebel Wolves was born. They’re diving headfirst into the big leagues with a dark fantasy action RPG. And guess what? They’re using Unreal Engine 5, which is pretty much the hot new tech everyone’s raving about.

Mateusz joining the team is perfect timing. Their RPG is just getting into the alpha stage, and with his 13 years at CD Projekt RED and a stint at Riot Games, he’s got the experience to steer this ship right. He’s super pumped about his new role, talking about pushing boundaries with RPG stories and making games people want to play over and over. He’s joining forces with Konrad Tomaszkiewicz at Rebel Wolves, and together, they’re not just making a game; they’re creating a whole universe.

Their vision’s getting a boost with some funding from NetEase, so things are looking up for them in the RPG world. VGC says we’ll be getting more juicy details on this project later this year, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve got up their sleeve. This could be a massive deal for RPG fans and the gaming community. Stay tuned!
