Pokemon Go seeing rise in competitive events

The Pokemon Go community has always been competitive, in some way. This is understandable, especially since Pokemon Go is competitive as a game. Battling a Raid Boss, searching for the perfect Pokemon, and seeing who got the better stats. That is the core of Pokemon Go.

Well, the increases in some numbers are showing exactly that. There are Pokemon Championships and Pokemon Go events where Trainers let their competitive nature come out for a little bit. The numbers for attendance and viewership are going up, as well as the PvP portion, which is exciting. The latest EUIC 2024 event was a total success, to be honest, and I think you all can agree with me on this one.

As part of the most popular mobile game right now, Pokemon Go, the European International Championship 2024 which took place in London, UK, broke a lot of records, showing that the competitiveness among Trainers is growing and growing. There were 320 competitors, and because of that, dear Trainers, this Pokemon Go Tournament is the largest Pokemon Go Tournament to date.

Other than that, there is also a Chilean Samsung event, as well as some news coming in APAC, which is always exciting. I hope that this is not the end of mind-blowing news coming our way from Pokemon Go.

This success is due to you, dear Pokemon Go community, and I can’t be prouder that I am part of this amazing group of people.

Let’s not forget that 14 total PvP tournaments are happening in May. How exciting.
