Rise of the Ronin Surpasses Dragon’s Dogma 2 in Physical Sales in Japan

Rise of the Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2 are two action role-playing video games, developed by Team Ninja and Capcom respectively. Both games were released to the video game world on the same day, March 22, 2024, but Rise of the Ronin is seeing more success, especially in Japan.

It’s already the second week since Rise of the Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2 hit the gaming charts, and according to Famitsu and the game software sales ranking, Rise of the Ronin is seeing more success in Japan.

Rise of the Ronin has a better reception in Japan compared to the West. Why? So it seems that Japan cares more about gameplay than graphics.

Rise of the Ronin is a PS5 exclusive, while Dragon’s Dogma is available on the PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
