PO’ed: Definitive Edition heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC and more on May 16, 2024

When I was just a little kid, I imagined how life would look like if aliens took over everything. Well, those pictures will soon become reality, but instead of taking the entire world, these pesky green things are taking over a ship.

This might sound familiar to you, and that is because it indeed is familiar. PO’ed: Definitive Edition is a remastered version of the 1995 PO’ed, and we will have it on our modern screens in just a few days. Yes, the remastered version named PO’ed: Definitive Edition is coming our way on May 16, 2024, for $19.99. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam and GOG).

The remastered version that is developed by Nightdive Studios is a spiced up game from the 1995 one, meaning that players will be getting updated visuals, increased framerate and redefined controls, and up to 4K 144 frames per second performance. Imagine getting grabbed by aliens in 4K, oh the dream.

Players will be captains of a ship that is taken over by aliens. Your entourage is nowhere to be found, and you soon learn that the missing persons are the aliens’ fault. You need to set them free, right? Well, you will have to battle 16 monsters in the galaxy, and fly through 25 3D environments. You will not go into battles bare hand though, as you will have a big arsenal of weapons to choose from.

Last but not least, you will have the quality-of-life features, if you want to enhance the gameplay and fix some bugs that might be present. Don’t worry, you can turn this off whenever you want.

I am ready to battle these aliens, but are you?
