This year’s Hearthstone HCT Spring Championship is taking place in China, with a prize pool of $250.000. Wow, that sounds amazing.
The Spring Championship starts on July 7 through July 9, 2017, in China. To be more precise, in the Silver Hall of the Expo Center in Shanghai.
How To Qualify?
If you are a very good player, and you think you’ll end up at top 4 in your region, then you can qualify for the Spring Championship. This means that there will be 16 players in total, fighting in a dual tournament group stage. The top 2 players from each group will play in the single-elimination.
The Spring Playoffs starts from May 20, until June 4. This depends on the region. So, Europe’s playoffs start on May 20, Americas on May 27, and Asia-Pacific on June 3.
Just heads up, Tavern Hero tournaments will run separately from the regional Playoffs. Only the top 8 players from the tournament can join the top 64 HCP in regional Playoffs.
