Euro Truck Simulator 2 Gets Better Light Flares for Vehicles

Knowing that the light flares have been growing at a short distance poking player’s eyes, that will now be gone forever. SCS Software confirms the same by announcing their focus on this update has been set a long time ago. Below, you can compare the old and new light flares and their look in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

At longer distances, the new system is going to do its job by adjusting the flare intensity as you move closer to a vehicle. These visual changes will be applied to American Truck too. The new light flares have a better look and are not meant to be annoying as the ones before.

Below you can see pictures of the new light flares on DAF truck. Front and Back view included.

You can finally travel pleasantly at night, without worrying about the disturbing light flares. Just make sure you jump in the game fast and experience the new light flare behavior. The developed content throughout Euro Truck 2’s timeline has been extremely satisfying. For an Indie game, this should be an example for everyone, because it never stopped receiving those valuable updates throughout its past.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
