Blizzard’s Job Listings somewhat imply to bringing new content to Warcraft 3

Blizzard has probably given a hint to all the players thanks to their recent job listings. According to the list, Blizzard is searching for a senior software engineer that is supposed to work on ensuring and improving the gameplay experience.

The listed roles are as following:

  • Design, implement and maintain various gameplay systems for Warcraft III
  • Work closely with game designers, programmers, and the community to ensure a great player experience
  • Champion Blizzard Entertainment’s core values, especially ‘Gameplay First.’

We remember that Warcraft 3 received a patch before a month or so, adding widescreen support in their real-time strategy game. Warcraft 3 is probably about to get more features any time now, judging by Blizzard’s seriosity and focus.

Even if players were quite surprised by the chance of getting a remastered version of Warcraft 3, the latest patch negated some of the speculations around it, since the widescreen support is now in the game. It has also received multiple tweaks regarding balances, which is another reason for avoiding a remastered version of the game.

Also, Blizzard has remained quiet on that question, and no acclaims have been proven around the rumor, yet.
