Modern Warfare’s most recent patch that at first aimed to nerf the M4 and the 725 hasn’t done a gratifying work. The players are still struggling to retaliate opponents using the 725. The developers have discovered that the most overpowered shotgun, in this case, the 725, is always bound to receive further tweaks.
Primarily, the first nerf has dealt with its range. But in some scenarios, a shot by the 725 could pull the same result as before the nerf. Therefore, the nerf result is still baffling both for the players and the developers at Infinity Ward.
Yet another reason why the 725 Shotgun is holding changes in the future. Nerfing a Shotgun is not a simple thing to do. The gun intents to shine at close combat battles, as it retains its soul to where it belongs.
It definitely is. Weāre being careful to retain the soul of the 725.

Joe Cecot, a co-design director has also discovered that another tweak is coming to iron the spikes of the long-range 725 Shotgun shot. However, if the victim is at low health, the Shotgun will always reach out. You can check out the tweet by Joe Cecot below:
Another tweak is coming which should massage out the rare very long shot. Now if the target is at low health this thing will always reach out. https://t.co/qN3cCNovOP
