GameStop is Facing Heat for Keeping its Doors Open During the COVID-19 Outbreak

Video game retailer GameStop keep their stores open, as they classified themselves as “essential retail” as their employees fear for their safety during these hard times.
The video game retailer GameStop classified themselves as an “essential business’ and their stores will stay open to provide customers and associates with the safest environment possible.
GameStop employees fear for their safety, but the Chief Executive Officer George wants them to keep their doors open and even argue with police about staying open. Not cool, not cool at all George!
GameStop employees do not agree with this decision and it looks like things are not looking good for GameStop.
Here is what the employees think about this decision and I personally think that all of us should stand behind them and give them our support!

GameStop’s corporate office has instructed worldwide stores to not comply with law enforcement who try to force closure because of the COVID-19 quarantines. Stores are to be marked as “Essential Retails” and to stay open on lockdowns. from r/worldnews
GameStop rules itself ‘essential retail’ and therefore immune to lockdown closures from r/nottheonion
We personally stand with every video game ‘institution’ and their decisions, but this is crossing our line and during these hard times instead of giving their employees/family a chance to stay safe, they want to benefit. Not cool, not cool at all!
Stay safe out there and you guys need any help, please let us know! We would be more than happy to help you!
