Microsoft Renewed Fable Trademark, Possible Sequel?

Microsoft applied to renew the Fable trademark. It is a high chance that a sequel to Lionhead’s RPG franchise will arrive. The trademark application was filed on June 26, and it can be found here. According to it, it has the “intent to use” tag, which further proves the possibility of an upcoming sequel.

As a rumor, we may see a Fable reveal in the coming period. Tom Warren, a senior editor at The Verge, has exposed two new Twitter placeholders, followed by an Xbox employee. Microsoft has reinstated both Fable and PerfectDarkGame.

Shortly after the initial tweet, a response by Xbox Marketing Representative was given. “Aaron Greenberg” has just assured that due to standard practice, these two accounts must sustain (even they’re inactive) without any meaningful impact towards the IPs.
