Update: The votes for September and October Community Day event will be collected via a poll hosted on the Pokemon Go official Twitter channel.
Update: September and October Community Day will be decided by the Pokemon Go community by voting. Here are the candidates:
Trainers, after seven successfully completed Community Day events, it’s time to start speculating which would be the 8th consecutive Community Day event in September 2020. I say speculate, because Niantic and Pokemon Go are constantly changing their pattern regarding these events, and we are not sure what the next Community Day events would be. The only thing we can say for sure is that the next Community Day event will start in September 2020.
So far we have had seven successful Community Day events, including seven different Pokemon, their shiny forms and many bonuses. We saw Piplup, Rhyhorn, Abra, Seedot, Weedle, Gastly, and Magikarp and now it’s time for the next Pokemon in September 2020.
In our opinion, there are two options: to bring back the voting system or to use the old way and just choose on their own. Anyhow, it is certain that they must make changes to the GM file, and only then we will be sure what they have decided.
Now, if they bring back the voting system, we might have to choose between Caterpie, Charmander, Grimer, or Porygon in September 2020. If they decide to choose on their own, here is the list of Pokemon that we might see as the September Community Day event:
