Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to be 60 FPS on the PS5

There is an upcoming sequel for the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, called Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This sequel, as we know, will be available for PS5 on November 13.

The exciting new thing about this new game is that it will be 60 FPS for the PS5, as said by the Creative Specialist, Treyarch.

This statement was made on the Official PS Magazine UK. She also dived into what the new PS5 technology has to offer. According to her Cold War will be 60 FPS and 120 Hz on the Upcoming PlayStation 5 console. She went on with the interview by saying: ”It’s about telling the right story and narrative from the campaign side to the multiplayer side, but I think immersion and a cinematic feel, right, and that butter-smooth 60 frames per second, things players expect, we’re trying to take and enhance, with that at 120Hz, taking the haptics, whatever we can do so that players feel like they’re getting the right next-gen experience.”

To add to this excitement, Dan Vondrak, the Senior Creative Director at Raven Software, has reported that the team are already developing some new and interesting moments to the game. These “sequences”, as called by him, are so enticing that a player might get lost because, as said by him, “sometimes you have control and sometimes you don’t.”
Both Leslie and Vondrak said that PS4 has reached its limits, but they also made sure to clarify that players will have a quite different experience on the new PS5.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be available on November 13 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
