Persona 5 25th Anniversary teased by Atlus, along with a Project Re Fantasy reveal!

Atlus, the creators behind the popular JRPG Persona franchise, teased a lot of info in an interview with Famitsu.

The director for Persona 5, Katsura Hashino, revealed that he’s working on the mysterious Project Re Fantasy and told fans to look forward to a reveal in 2021. Project Re Fantasy was teased back in 2017, and just like FromSoftware’s Elden Ring, we haven’t gotten a lot of news about the game.

Kazuhisa Wada, the director for Persona 5 Royal, also mentioned that a project is progressing quietly behind the scenes. According to Wada, Persona 5 fans should lookout for a special event coming in 2021, so make sure you tune in for that as well.

In the meantime, for all you Persona fans of the west, Persona 5 Strikers will finally be available to us for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in February. For those unfamiliar, Persona 5 Strikers is a hack and slash role-playing video game developed by Omega Force and P-Studio, based on the original Persona 5.
