Daedalic Entertainment delay The Lord of the Rings: Gollum to 2022

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Daedalic Entertainment and published by Nacon. During the period between the ring’s loss and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the game will take place in Middle Earth.

LOTR: Gollum started development back in 2019, with an initial release date of somewhere in 2021. However, Daedalic Entertainment has announced that they’ll be pushing back their estimated release window to 2022 to give players a better experience of playing the game.

LOTR: Gollum will feature stealth and action-based gameplay, while in the meantime, you’ll need to control your inner self. You’ll get special dialogues if you want to stick with your human-self Smeagol or turn to the greediness of Gollum.

The game will be released for Xbox One Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, and PC sometime in 2022. We hope this Middle-Earth game will do as well as those in recent years like Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor.
