Steam has just announced that a new event is coming on the horizon. An event in which players can explore new and upcoming games, play game demos, watch developer livestreams, and chat about their games. A brand new event that has renamed Steam Game Festival, and it’s named Steam Next Fest.
When does it start?
Steam Next Fest will start on June 16 and will last until June 22.
We’ve renamed the Steam Game Festival to more directly communicate its focus: Announcing Steam Next Fest, a multi-day celebration of upcoming games. Explore and play hundreds of game demos, watch developer livestreams, and chat with the teams about their games in progress, coming soon to Steam.
Valve has also a short published trailer regarding the surprises expected at the event. That’s all we know so far, but we expected a wide variety of games to come along.
