MMOARPG Lost Ark Delayed to 2022, Closed Beta Starting Soon

Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG have decided to stall things with the upcoming MMOARPG Lost Ark. Lost Ark will be delayed to early 2022 due to quality assurance. Nevertheless, closed beta is coming out soon. This delay might be good for Amazon Games as it will give the developer some time to dedicate on its other MMORPG, New World.

Lost Ark was scheduled to release in Fall 2021, but recent turbulent events have pushed the developers to delay the game further. Apparently, the game needs a lot more polishing before it reaches a stable candidate. Nevertheless, Lost Ark will still host a closed beta phase from November 4 to November 9, gathering additional information through player feedback. All Founder’s Pack purchasers will have access to this Closed Beta, while other players who haven’t purchased anything will still be able to sign up.

There is not much information available about Amazon Games’ plans for the future. However, it seems like they plan to stay more open with their players by providing monthly updates on what work they are doing “in the background. The closed beta will be escorted with a brand new Discord, allowing members to involve themselves in some Lost Ark-related discussions.

Lost Ark is the game everyone’s waiting for. After its release in the Korean region in 2018, Amazon Games decided to expand the game’s reach to NA and EU. Now that a western release is queued, fans of the genre are even more eager about the game and want to have it as fast as possible.

The MMO genre is undoubtedly becoming plugged, consuming tons of players in their effort to gearing and becoming a powerful in-game character.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
