Would you like a Cyberpunk 2077 VR Mod?

Cyberpunk 2077 might get a VR mod in January, 2022

Well, imagination might become a reality once you have the right person dedicated to it. Cyberpunk 2077’s anniversary is just around the corner, and even if official updates are scarce, an individual developer who has already created two VR mods for games like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, Luke Ross, is onto creating a VR experience that will allow players to walk through Night City.

According to the modder, the Cyberpunk 2077 VR mod is planned to come out in January 2022. The idea for this VR mod was given by his Patreon supporters, who wanted him to delve into Cyberpunk 2077 and Night City before any other game. Honestly, it’s not a bad hit as Night City’s look is worthy for such a project.

Bringing Cyberpunk 2077 to virtual reality sounds exciting, and the ability to walk in the futuristic Night City in VR could go viral. We know how much players love Cyberpunk 2077, despite its magnitude of issues that have seemingly altered the course of developer intentions. Anyhow, Luke Ross hopes that new Cyberpunk 2077 updates won’t impact this VR mod.

According to Luke Ross, Cyberpunk 2077’s major bonus is that it’s already played in first-person, making it easier to develop a VR mod. By having that, he doesn’t need to implement a fake-first person camera as he did with Mafia Trilogy.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
