Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Wave 2 launches next week

It's going to introduce new courses.

The zany racing experience, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, will receive a second wave of courses. On Thursday, Nintendo announced a new Booster Course Pass is due to release on August 4. Previously a rumor, now a reality, this course pack will allow players to enjoy racing on new and renovated tracks.

Wave 2 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass arrives August 4th! Race around eight additional courses, including the brand new Sky-High Sundae!

The second wave of courses will be released on August 4th, 2022 – just one week away. This news came as no surprise to those who noticed a suspicious-looking date appear in 7 Eleven Japan for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe posters. And it turns out there was some truth behind these rumors after all!

I know plenty of friends who haven’t even had the opportunity to play the first wave yet. Hopefully this will change their mind, as players will get the opportunity to race on 48 remastered courses from all the Mario Kart series with this Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass.

Nintendo plans to release 6 total course waves, which means lovers of the handheld console will be pleased. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass is available on Nintendo eShop or on this website as a separate purchase. Pay once and immediately gain access to all released waves, plus future waves (48 courses in total) as they become available! Thos doesn’t apply for those with Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack membership as they can access each wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass for no additional cost.
