Valve is Giving Away a Free Battle Pass, Arcana, and Dota Plus Membership

The launch of the TI 2022 Swag Bag is here.

As a celebration of this year’s The International, Valve is giving away a couple of goodies to all of its Dota 2 players. The International 2022 Swag Bag will provide you with an Arcana Skin and Battle Pass, including a free Dota Plus membership. But first and foremost, it has to fix all the headaches the Coordinator has at the moment.

Due to the high load, Dota 2’s Coordinator is having a lot of trouble as players cannot claim their reward. Dota 2’s API is currently unavailable too. Anyway, back to the Swag Bag. In the wake of the upcoming TI finals, Valve has decided to give away a Dota 2 item that grants higher rewards, and it would fit perfectly for those who couldn’t afford to purchase the Battle Pass.

It’s quite amazing to see Valve giving away to the players, and I am honestly a bit shocked over here. Not only unique Arcana cosmetic but also a free Dota Plus and a free Battle Pass sounds too much for their taste. The promotion will last until the end of the Battle Pass, so make sure you log in and claim your reward.

Starting today these rewards are available to all Dota players that play (or have played) at least 10 matches during the Battle Pass season, and will continue to be available to claim until the end of the season in January.

With the Swag Bag, players will get 30 days of free Dota Plus membership, Battle Pass, and an Arcana Set. This is one of the prestigious and best-looking cosmetic item types in Dota 2. Each of the marketable Arcanas cost around $35, but most recently, Valve decided to make them a part of Battle Passes, with each Arcana locked behind a specific BP level.

The International playoffs are in the books, and four standout teams have survived with dreams of claiming the Aegis still intact. As we all catch our breaths during this interlude between the nail-biting action, we’d like to take a moment to focus our attention towards Dota players all around the world, not just those competing on stage in Singapore.

As per Valve’s official blog post, this is what the package offers:

  • One month of Dota Plus.
  • A Level 1 Battle Pass, redeemable for 24 Battle Levels if you already own a Battle Pass.
  • Your choice of one Arcana from any available on the Dota 2 store.
