Activision Blizzard Confirms Fall Release for Call of Duty Warzone Mobile

In an unexpected revelation, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick has announced the release of the highly anticipated Call of Duty Warzone Mobile for the upcoming fall season. This Wednesday, the news broke during Kotick’s court testimony amidst Microsoft’s legal dispute with the US Federal Trade Commission.

The Microsoft-FTC case revolves around the proposed mega-transaction, a colossal $69 billion acquisition deal of Activision Blizzard by the technology giant Microsoft. The deal has been scrutinized and opposed by the US FTC due to concerns about industry competition.

First introduced to the public eye last September, the development of Warzone Mobile is a collaborative effort by Activision’s Shanghai, Beenox, Digital Legends, and Solid State studios. Initially, the global roll-out for Android and iOS platforms was earmarked for some time in 2023, but recent updates suggest that fans won’t have to wait as long.

Warzone Mobile is packed with a captivating suite of multiplayer modes, adding a new dimension to the Call of Duty franchise. Notably, its flagship feature will be a 120-player battle royale mode, offering players an immersive and intense gaming experience.

However, Activision Blizzard is not stopping there. The mobile version will also feature modes like Domination and Team Deathmatch to enhance player engagement and deliver unique gameplay opportunities. These are specially crafted to enable players to elevate their weapon level-ups and skills, providing an enriched game progression experience.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
