Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Gears Up for a February Launch

Square Enix has set the gaming community abuzz with the official confirmation of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth release date. Slated for a February 29th release, the second installment in the FF7 remake series is one of the year’s most anticipated titles.

The recent trailer, unveiled alongside the release date, showcases an assortment of exciting gameplay sequences and meticulously crafted cutscenes, signaling a narrative journey as expansive and epic as its predecessor, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Square Enix’s decision to bypass the PS4 console for Rebirth significantly differs from the previous release strategy. The original Final Fantasy 7 Remake saw a 2020 release on PS4, eventually branching out to PS5 and PC platforms. With Rebirth, the focus seems to be squarely on leveraging next-gen technology to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience.

First announced in June 2022, its initial announcements hinted at a late 2023 or early 2024 launch. The team seems ahead of schedule. Producer Yoshinori Kitase remained consistent with updates, assuring fans in June that the Development is progressing smoothly and according to plan.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
