Pokémon GO what are the odds of hatching Frigibax from 10 km Eggs?

Trainers, the Ultra Unlock Paldea event is behind us, but the excitement doesn’t stop there. Now’s your chance to hatch Frigibax from 10 km Eggs in Pokémon GO. That’s right, Frigibax, one of the most wanted Pokémon from the Paldea region, can now be yours through hatching.

September 2023 has been a thrilling month for Pokémon GO fans, thanks to Niantic’s introduction of Paldea region Pokémon for the very first time. With the kick-off of the new Adventures Abound Season, there’s no better time to dive into the game.

The Paldea region Pokémon have been released in two waves. In the first wave, under the banner of the Paldean Adventure, we saw the debut of:

  • Sprigatito
  • Floragato
  • Meowscarada
  • Fuecoco
  • Crocalor
  • Skeledirge
  • Quaxly
  • Quaxwell
  • Quaquaval
  • Lechonk
  • Oinkologne

Fast forward to September 10, 2023, the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event introduced a second wave, featuring:

  • Bombirdier
  • Nymble
  • Lokix
  • Pawmi
  • Pawmo
  • Pawmot
  • Frigibax
  • Arctibax
  • Baxcalibur

For those looking to evolve these new Pokémon, it’s worth noting that 50 Nymble Candy will evolve Nymble into Lokix. Pawmi can evolve into Pawmo with 25 Pawmi Candy, and further into Pawmot with an additional 100 Pawmi Candy after 25 km of buddy walking. As for our star Pokémon of the day, Frigibax, it evolves into Arctibax with 25 Frigibax Candy and ultimately into Baxcalibur with 100 Frigibax Candy.

Now let’s talk about the highlight of today, Frigibax. Not only is it a prized pseudo-legendary Pokémon from the Paldea region, but the odds of encountering one in the wild or hatching one from a 10 km Egg are exceedingly rare. With a hatch rate of just 2% from 10 km eggs, and considering the rarity of these 10 km eggs in general, the quest to catch or hatch Frigibax is nothing short of a Herculean effort.

Please be aware that the above-mentioned numbers could change at any time, so keep your eyes peeled for updates.
