Pokémon GO Party Play feature available for level 15 and above

Pokémon GO is slowly becoming interesting again, and now, we will soon have a new feature that we can fully enjoy.

Scheduled for a release on October 17, 2023, Pokémon GO’s newest feature Party Play brings a totally new way of playing with your friends. With Party Play, you can team up with three more Trainers (who are level 15 and above) and adventure together as you explore the Pokémon GO horizons.

Since there are many new things that you need to learn about this new feature, we are here to help you to navigate the whole thing easier.

First and foremost, you need a party. But the question is, how to host a party? First off, open the game and go to your Trainer profile. Then, click on the new Party tab, and click create. After that, you will see a numerical code or a QR code that can be shared with three more Trainers.

If you do not want to be the host of the party, you can join one. Go to your Trainer profile and click on the new Party tab, where you will be instructed to scan a QR code or enter a numerical code. After you have done this, all you have to do is wait for the host to start the party.

Onto the more fun stuff: Party challenges. These are a kind of tasks that can be focused on literally anything – spinning PokéStops, battling in Raids and more. Your party will get a pop-up right after it is formed, and the game will ask you what type of Party Challenge would you like to get. The good thing is, that you will get in-game rewards for each completed Party Challenge.

Now that we have mentioned Raids, here is the thing with it – whenever you are in a Raid where your party is present, you will get a special bonus named Party Power. This bonus doubles the damage of your next Charged Attack and it charges with every Fast Attack.

Just like Raids have summaries at the end of the battles, so does this. You can check your party’s progress and details by going on the Party Tab, found on your Trainer profile. The categories that are available are:

  • Pokémon
  • Throws
  • Adventure
  • Battle
  • General

The next adventure that you can use the Party Play feature is Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part 1, so let’s start the party!
