Steam Next Fest Kicks Off with A Bang, Offering Hundreds of Game Demos

Steam’s latest Next Fest has started, and it’s the place to be if you’re a gaming fan. Running until October 16th, the event features hundreds of game demos that are free to try out. But that’s not all. You also have the chance to tune into live streams and even chat with the developers behind your favorite upcoming titles.

If you’ve got a PC and love gaming, Steam Next Fest is like an early holiday. Valve, the company behind Steam, has made sure there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re into action-packed shooters, thoughtful strategy games, or story-driven adventures, you’ll find many demos. This is a great way to figure out which games you might want to buy in the future.

It’s not just about the games, though. The event also features live streams deeper into what makes these games unique. You can catch behind-the-scenes looks and developer interviews, offering a more intimate look into the gaming world. Plus, the live chat functions mean you can ask questions directly to the creators, making it a two-way conversation.

On top of all this, Valve has also shared the calendar for upcoming Steam sales. This should help you plan out when you might want to buy those games you’ve had your eye on. Not only did they confirm the sales for the rest of this year, but they also gave us a sneak peek into 2024’s calendar. Their next big event is February 2024, so mark your calendars.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
