Sea of Thieves Braces for Action with New Skull of Siren Song Voyage this November

The tides are turning in Sea of Thieves as Rare, the game’s developer, gears up to unveil a brand new player-versus-player (PvP) challenge: the Skull of Siren Song voyage. Set to make a splash on November 16, 2023, as part of the game’s Season 10, this latest addition promises to ramp up the excitement and competitive spirit among players.

The Skull of Siren Song voyage introduces a unique and dynamic PvP experience. For the first time, crews will find themselves racing against each other in a quest for a coveted treasure. The voyage begins when a ghostly note appears pinned to the mast of every crew’s ship, signaling the start of this thrilling race. The objective? To find two crucial items: a chest and the key to unlock it, guided by maps handed out by Captain Briggsy.

But the Skull of Siren Song is more than a mere race. Once a crew unlocks the chest and retrieves the titular skull, their ship’s speed will dramatically decrease, adding an intense layer of strategy and risk to their voyage back to an outpost to complete the mission.

This new voyage builds upon the innovations introduced in Season 10. Earlier in the season, Sea of Thieves expanded its social features, allowing players to form guilds and share ships, fostering a more collaborative environment. The Skull of Siren Song voyage, however, shifts the focus back to competitive play, offering a fresh and action-packed experience.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
