The Thaumaturge delayed, no longer out in December

Sad news folks, very sad news. We do not like to be the bearers of bad news, but sometimes, we have to take that role.
Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Fool’s Theory have announced a delay in the release of their highly anticipated narrative RPG, The Thaumaturge. Initially scheduled for December 5, 2023, the game’s launch date has been pushed back to February 20, 2024. Players can experience this isometric, story-rich RPG on PC through platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Subsequent releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are planned for a later date.
Set against the backdrop of 1905 Warsaw, a city oppressed by the imperial Russian tsardom, The Thaumaturge presents a diverse population with conflicting interests. Russian soldiers, Jewish merchants, and Polish townspeople navigate the complex socio-political landscape, creating a city of contrasting dreams and desires.
Amidst this backdrop, the enigmatic Thaumaturges keep a unique power — the ability to control spirit-like beings known as Salutors. These entities are harnessed for manipulation and combat, revealing a world where power comes with a cautionary tale. The narrative unfolds with morally ambiguous choices, providing players with a captivating storyline filled with investigation mechanics and distinctive turn-based combat.
