Blue Protocol console versions becoming available in Japan, with cross-play support for PC version

We have some great news to break to our Japanese readers, and it is related to a game that will surely become quite popular.

Bandai Namco Online has announced that the free-to-play online action RPG, Blue Protocol, is set to launch on PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Series via the Microsoft Store on December 13 at 17:00 JST. Both versions will support cross-play with the existing PC version, ensuring a seamless gaming experience across platforms.

Originally released for PC in Japan on June 14, Blue Protocol has gained popularity for its dynamic action combat system, deep character customization, and engaging story set in a vast world. Players embark on an epic journey through time, uncovering the mysteries of their origins, and forming alliances with characters from different worlds to determine the fate of planet Regnas.

The game offers a multiplayer adventure where players collaborate to tackle quests, engage in boss battles, and participate in massive online raids against towering monsters. The global version is expected to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2024, providing a broader audience the opportunity to experience this captivating online RPG.

Blue Protocol features an action-packed combat system designed for players of all skill levels, with customizable and user-friendly controls adaptable to various playstyles. Character customization takes center stage, allowing players to craft their ideal selves by choosing facial appearance, hairstyle, clothing, accessories, weapons, and mounts.
