God of War Ragnarök Hits 15 Million Sales, Celebrates with Free DLC Appreciation

God of War Ragnarök, the latest chapter in the acclaimed God of War series, has reached a significant milestone, surpassing over 15 million copies sold across PS4 and PS5. To celebrate this achievement and show appreciation to the fans, PlayStation has announced a special gift, the free DLC God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla.

The remarkable sales of God of War Ragnarök highlight the game’s immense popularity and the strong connection it has established with its player base. The Valhalla DLC is a token of gratitude from the developers, offering players an extension of the game’s rich narrative and immersive gameplay.

In God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla, players will follow Kratos on a deeply personal journey set after the climactic battle against Odin and Atreus’ departure. This new chapter takes players to the mysterious shores of Valhalla, where Kratos, accompanied only by Mimir, faces trials within himself and echoes of his past.

God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla merges the beloved combat mechanics of the main game with fresh elements inspired by the roguelite genre. This innovative blend promises to challenge players in new ways, encouraging them to master different aspects of Kratos’ arsenal and face unexpected encounters.

The release of this free DLC is a significant gesture from Santa Monica Studio and PlayStation, recognizing the support and enthusiasm of the God of War community. This DLC will be available starting at 9 AM Pacific Standard Time on December 12, 2023, and can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store at no cost.
