Stellar Blade Graphics Modes revealed, Performance, Balanced and Resolution

Stellar Blade, the upcoming PlayStation exclusive that launches on April 26, has revealed the graphics modes. The game will offer three different options, allowing PlayStation players to choose between smooth and high-resolution pictures.

Even though there are 3 graphics modes, I believe users will mostly switch between full 4K resolution at a targeted 30 FPS, or dynamic resolution upscaled to 4K at a targeted 50-60FPS.

Stellar Blade Graphics Modes

Performance: The first performance mode will be 1440p with 60FPS, which is somewhat crystal clear and smooth. To be honest, gamers do not need anything else unless they are playing on a huge TV.

Balanced: Then there’s the Balanced mode, which combines both modes and will offer a TAA upscaled 4K resolution and is supposed to run at around 50-60 FPS, which is quite acceptable by anyone.

Resolution: At last, the high resolution mode, which is full 4K with no upscaling whatsoever, is going to run at 30 fps. It’s slower, yeah, but every detail is in stunning clarity. I’d like to call this the screenshot mode because heck, no, there’s no way I am playing a game at 30 FPS when there’s 60 available.

Based on players who had the chance to experience the game said that the title is a great action game in the coming. For those unfamiliar, Stellar Blade is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
