Shift Up is already looking for talents for what could be a new AAA title

Shift Up is already in search of powerful talent for what seems to be its upcoming project and venture. Stellar Blade has managed to entertain tons of PlayStation fans, and with that said, players want to see more from them. Stellar Blade, an upcoming action-adventure game for PS5, will be released on April 26, but the developer is already “shifting” its gears for more.

Shift Up has recently revealed a new job listing for what appears to be a project in the works. While there are no details about it, the job listing seeks multiple positions: artist, Designer, PM, and QA. As per the listing, the game worked on will be accessible to PC and mobile platforms, too.

It’s unknown if this is related solely to Stellar Blade or completely, but the job listing says the game will be an action RPG set in an urban sci-fi world. We’ll have to wait and see whether it’s related to Stellar Blade. The job listing also reveals Unreal Engine and other bits and pieces. This is what it was translated, according to Google:

· Development of high-quality shaders and materials based on Unreal Engine for PC/console/mobile
· Establishment and continuous management of Unreal Engine rendering pipeline required for the project
· Continuous tracking and optimization of visual performance profiling for each platform
· Creation of tools to support artist work and Management (construction of automation system, etc.)
· Working and sharing graphic resource guide documents

· Those with more than 4 years of Unreal Engine-related development experience
· Those with an understanding of the Unreal Engine rendering pipeline
· Those with material and shader production skills
· Those with good communication between members

· Those with a high understanding of Unreal Engine structure
· Those with experience developing, optimizing and launching PC/console/mobile games using Unreal Engine

Whether or not this is related to Stellar Blade, it’s good seeing developers looking for job applicants, as the industry itself has been suffering by quite of layoffs over the past couple of months.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
