Freedom Planet 2 launches on April 4 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch
Freedom Planet 2 is set to make its console debut on April 4th, releasing on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. The game costs $24.99 and supports cross-buy on PlayStation and Smart Delivery on Xbox.
Originally launched on PC in 2022, Freedom Planet 2 expands the adventure by introducing Merga, the formidable Water Dragon, threatening the world of Avalice. Returning heroes Lilac, Carol, and Milla are joined by newcomer Neera, offering players a chance to explore 24 diverse stages, uncover hidden collectibles, and experience enhanced gameplay.
The Boss Rush update further enriches the game’s console release, which is also available to PC players on release day. This mode, accessible via the Battlesphere, challenges players to conquer 17 formidable bosses across two divisions. Those who emerge victorious earn entry to a VIP room brimming with a series of Easter eggs.
