Pokemon Go January Ends with 9 Event Tickets, February Brings 7 More

Trainers, January 2024 is coming to an end, and as we look back at all the events, features, bonuses, and new Pokemon introduced this month, we have to agree that it has been a great month. However, the wave of event tickets is what concerns us the most.

The Pokemon Global News fan page on Facebook keeps track of how many tickets were available throughout January 2024 and shares the numbers with the community. The community is surprised by the number of event tickets, and we can all agree that they should consider introducing a subscription model at this point. These paid tickets feel a bit extreme, and it’s something we need to address.

In January 2024, there were a total of nine event tickets, with one being canceled, leaving us with eight tickets in total, costing $22. When compared to last year, in January 2023, we had only two tickets with a total price of $2.

I almost forgot to mention, that nothing changes starting tomorrow February 1, 2024. According to our data, there are already seven event tickets announced for next month.

Here’s a recap of event tickets for both months.
