Pokemon Go players suggest ‘Pokemon Go Spend’ as new name due to constant paid tickets
Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go have announced their latest event, which includes yet another paid ticket. This marks the 15th paid ticket announcement so far, and we are curious to know, will they slow down?
Pokemon Go has announced a total of 15 paid tickets so far, nine in January 2024, five in February 2024, and one in March 2024. January 2024 is coming to an end soon and we don’t expect any more tickets for this month. However, February 2024 is already lined up with five ticketed events. Given this trend, we don’t expect them to stop with these ticketed events anytime soon.
Many Pokemon Go players feel that the increasing number of tickets is not matched by an improvement in game quality, and we, the team at FGR share this opinion with the community. However, players continue to get these tickets, and Niantic and Pokemon Go keep adding them to every event.
Some players speculate that they are doing these ticketed events so often because they want to shut it down. We all know what happened with all games by Niantic, they shut down almost every game they launched.
If generating revenue is the goal, there’s a simpler way that won’t ‘hurt’ the game, and it’s easy. They just need to remove the Remote Raid limit and reduce the cost.
