Pokemon Go Android users will not be able to redeem codes within the app starting February 13

Android users had a lot of comfort in Pokemon Go, but it seems that this is about to change.

Niantic has officially announced that they will be making some changes in the way Android users redeem their codes, and it will no longer be through the app. Redeeming the code within the app was very convenient, but all good things must come to an end sometimes.

Starting February 13, 2024, instead of redeeming a code inside the app, Android users will have to go through the Pokemon Go Web Store. The Trainers with PTC accounts can redeem the offers by linking their Pokemon Go account to another login provider.

This change will be an effort to bring all players to one place, or to be more exact, to bring us all to the Pokemon Go Web Store. So if you have any codes right now, and you happen to be an Android user, redeem them inside the app while you can.

To be honest, I saw this change coming, where Niantic will try to bring us all together. How this entire thing will work out we will see, and only time will tell.
