TIME Magazine Commemorates 25 Years of Pokemon with Special Edition Issue Featuring Variant Covers

A couple of years ago, or 25 years to be exact, the Pokemon franchise graces the U.S. land.

Releasing Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Red on Game Boy was the right move, because soon the Pokemon franchise took over everything. Now, to bring back that feeling, TIME magazine is celebrating a very special anniversary with something interesting.

TIME magazine commemorates, in a way, through a special edition issue featuring Pokemon. However, there isn’t one cover, there are four covers. Three of the available covers have the original starters, i.e. Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander, and the remaining one features a cover of Pikachu.

Luckily for us, if you aren’t able to get a TIME magazine right now, it is stated by official sources that the special edition issues are going to be available until May.

Just by looking at them, I think that they are all great, especially the Bulbasaur issue. I will definitely try to get that one.

Which one do you want to have? Let’s discuss it in the comments below.
