Dota 2’s Crownfall update is coming out Mid-April, and I cannot wait for it

Everyone’s on the edge of their seats for the Crownfall update, hitting Dota 2 this April. This update is shaping up to be a game-changer, promising new meta, hero, skins and more. But most importantly, as I said, the meta, which should be changing far more than now.

Aside from that, as we said, there are plenty of other ready to go through. As Dota 2 revealed in their latest update notes, Valve said that they are aware of the anticipation and that the update will be released in mid-April, which, realistically speaking, is not too far away.

As expected, the Crownfall update will include new faces joining the “ring,” with the Ringmaster jumping in headfirst. Imagine the latest strategies and team comps that will appear with the addition of this hero. But there’s even more.

And then there’s the fashion update, yes, Dota’s getting a wardrobe revamp too. As per rumors, Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, Dota’s drama king and queen, might just flaunt new Arcanas. Furthermore, there might be a new in-game event that will pit heroes against bosses, which I am craving to see. Remember the Silthbreaker? challenging us in ways we’ve barely seen before.

Valve’s keeping its cards close to its chest, but the little we know has us dreaming big about Crownfall’s impact. As the day of release is closing on us, speculation’s running wild. What new game plans will emerge? How will these changes refresh our beloved Dota 2 battlegrounds? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
