Far Cry 20th anniversary Livestream scheduled for March 21st

Ubisoft is preparing to celebrate a huge milestone with its Far Cry franchise, which is turning 20 years old this month. Known for its open-world environment and crazy but compelling narratives, this is likely to be a great event.

Ubisoft has announced that the special Livestream event is scheduled for March 21st. The announcement arrived from Far Cry’s official X profile, which also reveals a discount on all Far Cry games on all available platforms. Twitch drops will also be available during the event, so make sure you stay tuned.

Recently, rumors have been circulating about not one but two new Far Cry games being in development. The first is supposed to be an extraction shooter set in Alaska, and the second is known as Project Blackbird of Far Cry 7, which is also said to be released in Fall 2025. What’s exciting about this one is that it’s supposed to deviate from the common Ubisoft linear storyline and introduce something new to the gable.

As we wait for more details on the upcoming rumored titles, what do you think about Far Cry in general? Let us know in the comments below!

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
