Video Game Updates & Patch Notes

PayDay 3 patch 1.1.2 brings adaptive armor, medic bag overhaul and more

Starbreeze has released a new update for Payday 3, titled 1.1.2. The patch was released today, March 27, bringing a couple of overhauls, improvements, fixes, and more. It seems like the developer is trying to retain PayDay 3’s player base, and we’ll see if this update would bring some of them here.

As we have mentioned above, there is new Adaptive Armor, which players might find interesting, new Medic Bags and First Aid Kits, which are now considered to have received a huge update, and more. Also, there’s a new Fortitude Skill Line, which increases survivability thanks to the Adrenaline feature.

There are also new Extra skill points for Greater Flexibility and more. Without further ado, you can find the patch notes below.

PAYDAY 3: Patch 1.1.2 Changelog

A short but oh so sweet update for PAYDAY 3 today! A slew of new features, many written on in great detail in previous blog posts make it into the game. In addition, several key balance changes will let you change up the way you play.

Update Highlights & New Features

While more changes are still on their way and being worked on as part of “Operation Medic Bag”, we want to adapt and react to the current playstyles, and mix things up and expand your arsenal for the upcoming challenges.

  • New Adaptive Armor
    • This brand new armor has the unique ability of not taking any trauma damage, meaning that unless its chunk depletes completely, it’ll fully restore in 4.5 seconds.
  • Medic Bag Improvement (Adrenaline)
    • All Medic Bags and First Aid Kits will have the Adrenaline feature following this update.
  • New Fortitude skill line
    • The Fortitude skill line makes great use of the new Adrenaline feature from the Medic Bags. It both buffs the players and vastly increases survivability.
  • Skill point increase
    • With the Fortitude skill line we’ve now added 3 great skill lines to the game. To compensate, we’re adding another 7 skill points into the game so that you can have more flexibility in your build choices.
Known Issues

Players who have already reached level 26 prior to updating the game will not be able to equip Adaptive Armor immediately. Completing any heist on any difficulty will correctly unlock the Armor for affected players.
