Tales of Kenzera: Zau Releases Day 1 on PS Plus Game Catalog on April 23

Surgent Studios will have the chance to witness Tales of Kenzera: Zau, 2.5D action-exploration game coming to PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on Day 1 on April 23, for PS Plus Extra and Premium members.

In this game, players play as Zau, a young warrior shaman from Amandla. Zau’s quest is to navigate the mystical realm of Kenzera and confront Kalunga, the God of Death, in the hope of bringing his Baba back from the dead, while the narrative is inspired by Bantu tales.

Zau is equipped with two mystical masks, which can relay the power of the sun and moon. This will allow players to unleash devastating attacks and course through the game easier. But, as they progress through the world, they will get the chance to unlock new abilities and skills.

These include mighty Spirit Attacks like the ferocious Lunar Beam blast that can be unleashed to obliterate enemies using the Moon Mask… …and the engulfing fire Supernova that can be used to scorch nearby foes with Shamanistic fire using the Sun Mask.

As you progress through, you will gain experience from both exploration and combat, which can be spent on skill points between two skill trees. Moon asm and Sun mask. These skills will allow Zau to become more powerful and learn new attacks and combos.

Overall, the game is fun, and PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can experience it for free.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
