Easy Anti-Cheat has already dealt with 16,000 cheaters in Apex Legends

Already proven to be working, Easy Anti-Cheat is the god tier anti-cheat that could best fight against players with bad intentions. Players who tend to cheat in popular video games have been most likely stopped by this beast, as it is confirmed to be one of the most intrusive anti-cheats. The same has happened in Apex Legends, the most recent addition to the Battle Royale genre, in which Easy Anti-Cheat managed to stop above 16, 000 cheaters.

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed the same on Reddit, which thread was viewed by multiple players and escorted with a positive thought. The developers also asked the players to submit their form of proof (if any cheater is noticed). Any sort of proof would work, but the best piece is simply by submitting a video.

What amazes most of the community is that EA games usually do not use this kind of anti-cheat measure. They tend to use their own piece of code which usually detects nothing but an excessively blatant cheat. Thank God it finally worked out for EA and Respawn Entertainment.

With that being said, we’d suggest you not to cheat in Apex Legends. Not that it will cost you money to recreate an account, but you will lose a lot of time in creating one. Going against Easy Anti-Cheat is not the smartest thing to do, and by the time of creating new accounts all over again, you will become somewhat an expert in Apex Legends.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC. 1. It also likes to kick me out of the game after every match, with a pop-up saying that EAC doesn’t trust a DLL in an inactive text-to-speech program. :U
