Nvidia GeForce Hotfix Driver 442.01 Fixes The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine Scene Crash

Nvidia has decided to release an update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, especially for a scene where a game crash could occur. Hotfix 442.01 was discussed on Nvidia’s customer help panel. It is available only by manual download too. A specific look of the Blood and Wine scene could crash the game completely, and at this moment, a fix is more than necessary since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is noticing a colossal success years after launch, thanks to Netflix’s Witcher TV series.

Furthermore, this hotfix addresses a known issue with CoD: Modern Warfare. Streamers using the StreamLabs OBS to stream their gameplay may usually notice a stream crash. This issue should no longer be available with the 442.01 hotfixes.

The last part of the beneficial side of this Hotfix is the fix of the SLI+G-Sync Stutte. G-Sync, combined with SLI, did not pair well in the latest Nvidia Update and has been the culprit of multiple game stutters. Well, the hotfix should get rid of the stutters and set the players on a new path.

For more detailed 442.01 Hotfix Driver Notes, check below:

  • [Call of Duty Modern Warfare] Streaming of gameplay using StreamLabs OBS will randomly stop
  • [The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine] Game may crash when a user reaches a specific cut scene
  • [SLI+G-SYNC Stutter] Users may experience minor stuttering when using NVIDIA SLI in combination with G-SYNC.

That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S.
