Path of Exile: 3.0.0 Wave 3 Beta Will Improve The Game Performance By Far

Grinding Gear Games are going to improve their Path of Exile game performance by far. Their tough work on the 3.0.0 expansion results in a high quality performance improvement. Higher FPS on older GPU and CPU is what everyone would love to see. Do not despair, because that time is almost here. As Path of Exile improved throughout patches in the past, the Wave 3 Beta will finally achieve what every single PoE fan would love to see. No more lag spikes because of performance issues, making them eligible of trying out the most ridiculous and powerful builds.

Wave 3 Beta 3.0.0

Grinding Gear Games has improved the CPU and GPU resources being taken by PoE. They’ve also published a video recorded on i5-6500, GeForce 1050 Ti and 8GB of RAM, which confirms these improvements. You can see the video below.

The major goal for 3.0.0 was to reduce the number of spikes so that the game always runs smoothly, even when there are a lot of skills being used.

That being stated, Grinding Gear Games decides to improve the speed of creating and destroying objects, knowing that’s the cause of the lag spikes. Wave 3 Beta will get rid of those issues while also improving the frame rate by far. PoE’s 3.0.0 Wave 3 will also add a new feature called Dynamic Resolution, which allows maintaining high frame rates even as the amount of particles increase.

These changes will be available throughout the next week when Wave 3 Beta is released. The community is extremely satisfied because of the lag spike disappearance as they will get the chance to try out some of the most strong and powerful builds without having any performance issue.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
