Theory Pokemon Go Generation 4 First Wave on Monday, October 15
There is a quite interesting theory posted on the official TSR Reddit by Jetsplit and it looks like Gen 4 Pokemon will be launched on Monday, October 15.
Jetsplit posted a very interesting theory yesterday (October 12), which was not taken very ‘seriously’ at the beginning, but after Niantic’s and Pokemon Go’s latest tweet, it seems like the Redditor might be right.
The following has been posted on TSR first, so if you want to see the original thread you can do it here.
Simply put, if Niantic puts out another tweet like this one (see below) tomorrow for Chimchar, and Sunday for Turtwig, we could be looking at the first wave of Gen 4 Pokemon being released on Monday, October 15 (the day after the Psychic event ends).
Of course, this is reliant on Apple approving the update in time for Niantic to force it to every device this weekend.
First Niantic tweeted/teased about the Gen 4 Water Type starter Pokemon Piplup:
We’re excited to hear reports of a Water-type Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region that can dive for over 10 minutes to hunt. 🌊 Its speed and quick movement definitely lead us to believe that it’s a skilled swimmer. Which Pokémon could this be? pic.twitter.com/qyuCQNcfkl

Today, October 13, Niantic tweeted/teased a new Gen 4 Pokemon and this time it’s the Fire Type starter Pokemon Chimchar:
As we learn about Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region, we’re curious to hear about a Pokémon that has a fiery rear end. 🔥 Whatever this Fire-type Pokémon is, we’re excited for the opportunity to add it to our Pokédex soon! pic.twitter.com/ocY2VUDZq0

and according to Jetsplit’s theory, if Niantic teases the Gen 4 Grass Type starter Pokemon Turtwig tomorrow (Sunday, October 14) we might see the first wave of the new Generation 4 Pokemon on Monday, October 15.
For last, we just wait for Apple to force the update and voilà , Gen 4 will be here before you say Giratina.
