Rainbow Six Siege: Tachanka Buff and Other Changes

After the Mid-Season Reinforcements go live with a lot of adjustments, there are changes done to Tachanka, the Lord of the LMG. This is happening because Tachanka was the least picked defender in the game so far. This Tachanka Buff is expected to make him a defender with a higher Pick Ratio than before.

So, what kind of changes will Tachanka receive? In order to make him more played and viable, he received a new shield on the front of his turret to protect him from frontal headshots. So far, so good. However, he will still be vulnerable from other angles, which is also a consideration if this buff will make him be more played than before.

By receiving this buff, players should only aim at holding angles with Tachanka. Is this buff going to make Tachanka Operator with a higher pick rate? Well, we should just wait and see.

Added a new PVP map

The map is not actually new, but however, it’s new in the PvP world. This map used to be available only in PVE, but now it’s finally available for PvP rotation. Also, the map’s visual layout has been changed and ready for a competitive gaming.

Operator Changes have also been applied

Yes, with this update there is a ton of Operator Changes. It Includes an extra cluster charge and extra battery for Fuse and Bandit. Also, Smoke’s gas canisters now follow grenade trajectories if thrown instead of flying like nitro cells.

Another Operator has been changed and that is Blackbeard. His shield health has been too high and now it’s reduced. However, his time to aim down sights has been increased, as far as we know. He’s been the most picked Operator in Rainbow Six Siege and holds the highest Pick rate among the others.

Weapon balance changes

Even though it might not seem that good to take care of that much changes at the same time because they may not be accomplished successfully, we will get weapon balancing too. This should address the matchup between AR’s and SMG’s. Also, there will be applied a lot of bugs around them too.
