Pokemon Go Anniversary Event Is Right Around The Corner, Here Is What We Expect To See
Pokemon Go is celebrating 1 year Anniversary in just a few days, on July 6. The Pokemon Go app was released on July 6, 2016, earning $35 million from 30 million users in its first month of release. In the previous months, Pokemon Go users numbers have dropped significantly, approximately by 80%. But, Niantic has decided to make a change with their latest and by far the biggest Pokemon Go update, which includes new Gym features, Raid Battles, Raid Passes, Raid Bosses and a lot more.
As the days go by and July 6 is just around the corner, we’ve made a list of what the Anniversary event have to include.
The Pokemon Go Anniversary event should start on July 6 at 1 PM PDT. It is expected to last until July 24. I expect for all Trainers to be getting x2-x3-x4 XP, increased Stardust, Legendaries, some in-game discounts and the Rare Pikachu.
The Rare Pikachu was rumored at a conference that refers to the release of a Rare Pikachu. Also, a trailer was recently released, with Pikachu interacting with a PokeStop when a Legendary Bird suddenly shows up and wings its way as shown in the video above.
Please note that this is not yet confirmed by Niantic. As soon as I have any official info, I will make sure to keep you updated.
