New Special Pokemon Coming to Pokemon Go, New Eeveelution or Female Eevee?

The official shop of the Pokemon Company twitted a new update, saying that new Eeveelution keychain charm will be coming to Japanese release stores in September.

Please have in mind that this is just a tease and a hint, 0% confirmed and 0% a leak!

So let’s get started. There are 9 Eeveelutions – Normal, Water, Fire, Electric, Psychic, Dark, Grass, Ice and Farry. As you can see from the image below there is an extra one, which we assume to be the new Eeveelution keychain charm, and this charm could be a hint of the new Special Pokemon on both Switch and mobile device.

Let me refresh your memory for a second. The trailer from Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee, the new Nintendo Switch video game coming on November 16, says that players will meet a new Special Pokemon and with the ‘pair’ option this new Pokemon will be introduced in Pokemon Go as well. In addition, back on May 29, the Pokemon Company confirmed:

Those who don’t remember the trailer, don’t worry, I got your back – skip to 3:00 for the ‘You’ll meet a Special Pokemon’ note:

This would make a lot of sense judging by the fact that it is an Eevee/Pikachu centric game, and a new Eeveelution could be a game changer and it would definitely attract other long time fans!

Is it going to be a Ghost or Dragon Eeveelution or female Eevee? It looks like we have to wait at least one month for an official announcement!

  1. That “You’ll meet a special Pokémon” might actually refer to the fact that you get Mew in the pokéball if you pre-order with the ball. I am hoping for a new Eeveelution, though! But it might not be here.
