Escape From Tarkov Lowers Repair Prices of Armored Rigs and more

Escape From Tarkov received new game changes that happened instantly. If you didn’t know, Escape From Tarkov is architectured in such a way that Battlestate Games can push some server changes at any given time, without performing any client updates. That’s precisely what happened tonight.

On Friday, July 31, Battlestate Games has decided to lower the repair prices of armored rigs. Some of them were quite punishing, and this would represent a milder player economy. On the contrary, new crafting recipes have been added in the Hideout, which is typically there to help players with quest progression.

Moreover, Shotguns and shotgun barrels have received spread and accuracy buff, which is even more surprising after 0.12.7. Maybe BSG wants to introduce a new Shotgun meta, which is endorsed and more than welcome by the players.

EFT Beta Announcer announced the game changes on Twitter. You can find them below:

A short notice: we are currently working on Escape From Tarkov guides, so we’ll start publishing them slowly and hopefully help you out strengthen your performance, especially the newcomers.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
