Escape From Tarkov gets new, “Unheard Edition”, available for purchase now

Battlestate Games has revealed the Unheard Edition for Escape From Tarkov, which will replace the old and unavailable Edge of Darkness. According to the developer, this edition is better than Edge of Darkness and also offers access to Subsequent DLCs.

What’s different here is that this game offers Access to PvE co-op mode with persistent progression. How this will pan out it’s unknown, but we’ll jump on it and let you know soon. There are plenty of items that will be available, including a Lucky Scav Junk Box, ammo case, and other highly valuable items, previously unavailable on the Edge of Darkness Version. This edition costs 95 eur (if you own the EoD edition), and costs 250 eur if you buy it alone. It’s quite an expensive addition, even for those who already own Edge of Darkness.

As an EoD edition owner, I definitely think it’s way too expensive, but from my standpoint, I have to comb through the edition and write about it, so I have to purchase it. Sad but true.

Those who decide to purchase the edition now will get the items from the game transferred via mail, which means you can get the expansion from the get-go. The game offers increased standing with Fence, a unique in-game Melee Weapon, increased mail retention time, and more. For the full list of details, please check below!
