EA servers are currently down and players are not able to log in at the moment.
EA servers are down again and according to their official Twitter account, they’ve identified the source of the problem and are working to fix it.

Players can’t connect to the EA servers at the moment and we’re not sure how long it would take for them to fix the issue.
There is nothing you can do to sign in, meaning uninstalling and reinstalling the game won’t work.
I hope they fix the servers and we can all enjoy this Friday night.
